A few weeks ago Wendy and I were blessed to be able to travel to California to attend a LYON-SHOP at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles.  What is a Lyon Shop you say…well it is an amazing photography workshop hosted by two amazing photographers, Justin and Amelia Lyon.  So how did it go…it was all we expected and more!  Now, how ’bout some photos from it….here are some we shot.  You can check out some that Justin and Amelia shot on their blog as well as a couple of the other attendees…Jesse Tenorio and Stacy Hedman.  (Didn’t intend to leave anyone out if anyone else has posted, just haven’t seen yours yet. 🙂

Ok, we had Jen Lauren Grant and her fiancee there to model for us.  All I can say is WOW!  you guys are amazing! Ok, everyone together this time…WOW!!!

I know these last two are almost the same, but how do you pick one over the other?  Sizzzzzzzle

Here is Seth and Janay,  a great young couple that are full speed ahead of the game.  You guys are are most impressive! 🙂 We are so excited that we were able to hook up for these great photos.  Janay told me about the park that we shot them at,  I wasn’t sure what it was going to be like, but I think you will agree that the location was great.

Austin was looking at this shot with me and we liked both, so….we can post both, right?

doesn’t everyone have an engagement photo in front of the restrooms at the park?  Ok, probably not…but you didn’t have us take your pictures then, didn’t want to leave this one out.  😉

How do you follow up a restroom used as a backdrop…how about  Wendy’s attempt to give a “traditional pose” for the moms and grandmoms.  Well, how’d we do. (Even went for a more traditional “branding” logo thing)  Now if we were just inside you might think we were at JCPenney.  Ok, enough of that, beautiful shot guys, but now back to our regular progam….

Seth found this sign on the ground as we were walking to another great spot to shot, we thought…perfect.  Here is the result.

So what does this have to do with anything?  Nothing, just a random sign I thought I would include. 🙂 (Well, it was the park we were at, not like it was a sign from a different park, that wouldn’t make sense.)

I think I blew up the server with all that.  So many super shots.  Oh, wait here is another one, cant leave that one out.  No, just kidding.  But really, Seth and Janay, thanks so much for being so great.  🙂

So, back again…i know you say, ive already seen SHANE + BECCA e n g a g e m e n t.  Well, that was only a few of our favorites and we shot the wedding a couple of weeks ago and well, you cant post wedding photos before a better look at the engagement session. (not to mention that they are not ready yet,  maybe a sneak peak or something soon though)

As i was going back through these, i like so many.  Really had to narrow them down to keep the blog post under control and so that the gater host server doesnt get overloaded.  (not really, they have plenty of space im sure)  🙂

Shane and Becca are so much fun, i think you will see that in these super photos.  Shane is great and Becca…well…she is one of the funniest people i know.  Together they perfectly compliment one another.  The more we are around them the more we see it.
